Authorization error when opening a table browser

How to get authorized to access a table browser without contacting your system administrator.

There is a good chance you can resolve this issue without contacting your system admin. Before contacting your system admin check the following Table Properties. First make sure the Visible property is set to ‘Yes.’ If it is, then check to see if the ConfigurationKey is enabled under Administration > Setup > Licensing > License Configuration. If the table is visible and the config key is enabled, check that your user is assigned a security role that contains the table’s Security Key.

  • Make sure Visible Property is set to ‘Yes’
  • Make sure Configuration Key is enabled
  • Make sure User has a security role containing the table’s Security Key
  • If it still doesn’t work. Contact System Administrator
