Magid Glove and Safety, based out of Chicago, IL, is the world’s leading manufacturer, importer, and distributor of work gloves, safety glasses, and industrial safety equipment. They have a 500,000 square foot distribution facility in Chicago, and prides itself on superior customer satisfaction and incredibly efficient order fulfillment.

Blue Horseshoe worked with Magid to implement their Warehouse Management System (Manhattan’s iSeries WMS) and completely redesign their operation. Magid went from a completely manual, paper-based environment to a tier one WMS application integrated with a three-story automated conveyor system. Magid also introduced an automated picking carousel during this project, as well as integration to their custom, AS/400 based host system. Blue Horseshoe performed all of the implementation activities, from configuration and training, to the development of the interfaces and system enhancements.
