Deluxe Media Services is a leading replication and distribution company in the media services industry. More specifically, they handle much of the DVD replication and distribution for some of the major movie studios in the industry. Deluxe is headquartered in Vernon Hills, IL., and has distribution centers in Pleasant Prairie, WI and Little Rock, AR.

Blue Horseshoe implemented multiple solutions for Deluxe. Initially, Blue Horseshoe implemented their Warehouse Management System (Manhattan’s iSeries product) in all of their distribution facilities. There was seamless and tight integration with Deluxe’s host system (BPCS), as well as different MHE equipment, such as high volume picking sorters and outbound shipping conveyors. Then, due to retail mandates, Deluxe came to Blue Horseshoe to implement an RFID compliance solution. Blue Horseshoe delivered this solution, and ensured it was tightly integrated with the WMS, and was designed in such a way to satisfy the retail requirements.

The Deluxe implementation was a huge success, as the WMS provided a much more streamlined and labor-efficient operation. Inventory Accuracy has been improved to 99.9%, and they have successfully complied with any and all RFID and EPC requirements from their retail customers. Deluxe has given presentations regarding their RFID and WMS integration, and has repeatedly praised Blue Horseshoe for their commitment and excellence in delivery.
