Blue Horseshoe, a software development and solutions services firm has completed implementation of
Microsoft Dynamics AX Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system for
Amalie Oil Co., one of the nation’s largest family-owned oil companies.
Blue Horseshoe performed a complete analysis of Amalie Oil Co.'s business and designed a comprehensive bundle of solutions using several of its Intellectual Property (BHIP) products within the
Supply Chain Suite for Dynamics AX that extend the functionality of Dynamic AX, including:
- Warehousing for AX (WAX) which embeds advanced warehousing functionality into Dynamics AX eliminating need for a separate Warehouse Management System (WMS);
- Transportation for AX (TRAX) which provides advanced transportation planning and execution capabilities, such as carrier selection, routing, scheduling, contract management, status updates and freight reconciliation;
- Vendor Portal which integrates Amalie’s suppliers directly into its system allowing management and measurement of its vendors’ performance and streamlining the entire order to payment process.
